Avnet, Inc. Acquires Majority Interest in Japan-based Unidux, Inc.
To expand and strengthen its presence in Japan, Avnet has acquired electronic components distributor Unidux, which primarily serves Japanese original equipment manufacturers. Unidux generated approximately $370 million in revenue for calendar year 2009 and employs approximately 275 people who provide sales, design and value-added services to its customers.
